Internal Wall Insulation

Internal Wall Insulation (IWI) was installed on the external-facing internal walls of the property to improve the thermal performance of the building. The works involved fixing insulated plasterboard systems to the internal surfaces of the external walls, followed by sealing joints and finishing with plaster to create a smooth internal surface ready for decoration.

This upgrade significantly reduces heat loss through the walls, improving the overall energy efficiency of the property. The installation helps maintain a more consistent indoor temperature, reduces heating demand, lowers energy costs, and contributes to carbon emission reduction.
